Registration Information

**NEWS FLASH** All paid registrants (pre-registrants and at-con registrants) will get a chance to win a Nintendo DS from a random drawing after the convention. Winners will be announced on the website.

$30 Preregistration has been extended till January 15, 2009. If you want the reduced cost of $30 (group $25) please postmarked it by January 15 or register online and remit payment by paypal.

Kamikazecon 2 is a full 3-day weekend convention running from April 10-12, 2009.

Future attendees under 18 years of age must have their parent's permission before registering. A signed note from the parent/guardian with emergency contact numbers is acceptable. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with a paid membership AT ALL TIMES. Children under 5 (as of April 10, 2009) must be accompanied by an adult (21+).

Child passes (ages 5-12 as of April 10, 2009) will be available only at the door. Please provide a copy of the child's current report card or Student ID that has the BIRTHDATE as proof of age. A copy of the birth certificate is also acceptable. If there is any question about age and/or No report card/Student ID is provided, Kamikazecon reserves the right to charge full adult admission price to the event. Children 3 years of age and under are free with a paid Adult membership.

Pre-registration is for the full 3-day weekend pass. 1-day registration will be available only at the door. Hotel accommodations are not included with registration. If you decide to stay the whole weekend, please make plans as you cannot sleep in the hotel hallways, couches, or event areas.

3-Day Weekend pass: $40 at door.
Friday Only Pass: $25 (purchased at door only)

Individual Registration (MAIL-IN)

Thank you for your interest in Pre-registering. In order to pre-register, follow the following procedures:

1. Look at the following rate list to see what rate you qualify for:

-- Postmarked by December 31, 2008: Adult($30) Child (N/A)
-- Postmarked by March 10, 2009: Adult ($35) Child (N/A)
-- Anything postmarked after March 10, 2005 will be returned.

2. Print out the Registration Form. (PDF forms require Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.01 or greater to view)
-- Fill in all the required information.
-- Any missing or unreadable information may delay the processing of your pre-registration.
-- We cannot be responsible for any errors submitted during pre-registration, so please print clearly.

3. Add up the total cost of Pre-registration and any T-shirt cost that you wish to pre-purchase.
-- Send the total by check or money orders payable to: ACI Services.
-- Please note that there is a $25 fee for all returned checks.

4. Mail the Individual Registration Form and Payment to:

Please note the following:

-The pre-registering individual will receive an email stating the acceptance of his/her registration once we have placed it in our files.

-A Picture ID is necessary to pick up any badge.

-Anyone under 18 must get their parent’s permission before registering. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by an adult with a paid membership. Child Tickets are available only at the door.

-Once you have registered, there are no refunds. However, you can replace your name with another adult's name as well as other important information before March 10, 2009. Please contact the Registration coordinator to make changes on the registration record.

Group Registration (MAIL-IN)

Thank you for you interest in registering as a group. In order for you to register for the group rate, the following criteria must be met:

-- At least 10 people must be pre-registering at the time of submission.
-- Group rates are only valid for pre-registration. No group rate will be accepted if postmarked after March 10, 2009 or during Kamikazecon.
-- Group discount can't be combined with any other discount.
-- Once the payment has been sent, you cannot increase or decrease the number of people in your group.

To register as a group, follow the following procedures:

1. Add up the memberships at the following rates and make sure there is a minimum of 10 pre-registrations for the group:

-- Postmarked by December 31, 2008: Adult ($25) Child (N/A)
-- Postmarked by March 10, 2009: Adult ($30) Child (N/A)
-- Postmarked after March 10, 2009: Group Rate no longer available

-Any individual can pick up his or her badge without being with the group. A Picture ID is necessary to pick up any badge.=

-You cannot remove or add anyone to the group after it is sent. However, you can replace any adult with another adult before March 10, 2005. Please contact the Registration coordinator to change the registration record.

Volunteer Registration

So, you want to be one of Kamikazecon's volunteers? Many adoring fans smile upon these odd, yet necessary missions of ours. From running around with full cosplay materials to providing lock down with security, you'll be helping us make it a wonderful convention for the attendees and guests. Security - Location: Everywhere: Like keeping the peace, or like to make things right? This position is the one for you. You’ll be making sure that everything is running smoothly without any incident and keeping people in place. This job description includes, but is not limited to:
-- Badge checking for con-goers area
-- Reducing conflicts between con attendees
-- Enforcing Con Rules
-- Reducing theft and vandalism throughout the con
-- Helping out where-ever there is need for volunteers
Staff/Pro-suite - Location: Suite Rooms: Do you like to cook? Think you can do pretty well in the food service area? You'll probably do pretty well in this high demanding area that is essential to any successful con. This job description includes, but is not limited to:
-- Keeping the room clean and tidy.
-- Keeping the food trays semi-filled to filled
-- Being able to prepare/serve meals for staff and guests.
Info Desk - Location: Information Desk: Think you know about everything there is to this convention? If you have the knowledge or can read off a sheet of paper then this is for you. This job description includes, but is not limited to:
-- Answering general question about the con
-- Addressing any unknown questions that may come up
-- Pointing people in the right direction.
Gaming - Location: Arcade, Console and Table Top Game areas: Like assisting with gaming tournaments? Then this job is for you.
